Charge enhancing agent for powder coatings

Jietonda® SA2486 is a hindered amide used as charge-enhancing agent to improve powder coating transfer efficiency and minimize Faraday-Cage effects during application.

2. Characteristics
　 ● Can enhance the conductivity to improve powder coating transfer-efficiency, application performance and minimize Faraday-Cage effects during electrostatic powder spray.
　 ● Used in both corona application and tribo application.
　 ● Can increase friction charged performance at low use levels.
　 ● Can provides improved substrate wetting, result in better flow and appearance of film.
　 ● Quite good thermo-stability and anti-yellowing.
　 ● Have no catalytic activity, does not affect the gloss and gel time of coat.

3. Use method & levels
　 ● Premix SA2486 with other components of the formula before extrusion.
　 ● The use level is 0.2-0.4% by weight calculated on total formula.

4. Package & Storage
　 ● Packaging with PE lined Kraft paper bags. Net weight 25kg per bag.
　 ● Store in temperature between 2-32℃ or cool dry place to avoid caking. Keep package closed after using. Keep away from heat and fire.
　 ● Based on our experience the shelf life of this product under above conditions is at least 2 years.
